About Us

The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING AND SOCIAL SCIENCE 2021 (iRes2’21) is an international conference organised by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti (JPPKK), Politeknik Melaka (PMK), Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti Southern & Central Zone, Ministry of Education & Culture Indonesia, Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Vokasi Indonesia, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ), together with Society for Advancement of Science & Technology (SAST). The aim of this conference is to develop research culture among researchers, academicians, educational practitioners and students. In addition, it also gives an opportunity for academicians and management to share ideas and knowledge towards achieving an excellent and outstanding human capital in shaping a positive culture among educators. Participants will be expected to present their research papers in engineering, social science, business and management, TVET education and information technology areas.

All accepted and presented research papers will be published in the Journal of Engineering & Social Science (JESSc)

Call For Papers

The conference invites all researchers, academicians, educational practitioners and students to submit unpublished theoretical, empirical and scientific papers. Areas of interest for paper submission should include, but are not limited to these areas:

Business and Management
TVET Education
Information Technology

All submitted papers will be subjected to a blind review process by the iRes2’21 review panels. Participants are reminded to submit FULL PAPER (doc or docx) that follows the given format by 29th JUNE 2021. Please refer to iRes2’21 paper template for formatting requirements.


Participants will receive the NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE on 9th July 2021.


For all accepted papers, participants must PAY THE CONFERENCE FEES before 16th JULY 2021.

Online Video Presentation

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, iRes2’21 conference is "Online Video Presentation" basis. This can help participants to present their paper without attending the conference.  The flows are as follows:

2. Participants will receive a Notification of Acceptance from organiser if the full paper is accepted.

 

3. Every participation will be given 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for Q&A.

 

4. Participants are required to prepare a 5–10 minutes video presentation and upload it on YouTube. The YouTube link must be submitted in the Google Form ( Please Refer No. 5 ).

6. On the day of presentation, participants are required to report to their assigned room 10-15 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin. The hyperlink for assigned room will be update in this website ONE WEEK before the presentation session.


Conference Fee

All registration forms must be submitted together with the proof of payment. Your registration WILL NOT be confirmed until payment is received. Payment must be made in MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) / USD (United States Dollar) currency. The conference organiser will not accept any bank charges associated with the transfer of money. Participants should bear the Service Charge (if any) of the bank in the Sender's Side.

Registration Terms And Conditions

 

Submitted conference paper should have the maximum length of 8 pages, incorporating all text, figures, tables, and references.

 

Please note that the paid registration fee will not be refunded in the event of cancellation of participation.

 

For all accepted papers, the registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline. (16th July 2021).

 

Each paper will get only ONE Certificate for presenter. 

 

Selected papers for journals will be published within 2 – 12 months from the conference date.

 

Organiser has the right to cancel any manuscript that does not meet the conference track or submission requirement, without author and co-author(s) consent. 

 

All terms and conditions is applied automatically once payment has been made.

 

The organiser reserves the right to change the conditions of participation by informing the participants according to the current situation.
